Hofung Technology and Jacobs Comprimo

In 1993 Hofung Technology became the designated representative of Comprimo Sulfur Solutions, later part of Jacobs Engineering, in China, in charge of developing gas-treating and sulfur recovery business in China, focusing mainly on promoting SUPERCLAUS®, EUROCLAUS® and tail-gas treatment technologies. In 2001 Hofung Technology became Jacobs Comprimo’s exclusive sub-licensor in China for these technologies.

By the end of 2014, over 50 sulfur recovery units adopting technology provided by and designed by Jacobs Comprimo were in operation or under design in China, giving Hofung and Jacobs Comprimo a leading position in the Chinese sulfur recovery market.

Hofung Technology and Stork Thermeq

During Hofung Technology’s many years as the exclusive representative of Stork Thermeq in China, the deaerator technology of Stork Thermeq has been applied in nearly 500 power plant projects, and has retained the leading position in the domestic market. The vast majority of the supplied dearators are at this moment still in operation and running in good condition.

For the deaerator technology, we applied a business model in which internals designed based on patented technology was imported from Stork Thermeq manufacturing centers abroad, and installed in vessels produced by a number of carefully selected manufacturers in China. Stork Thermeq continue to use this highly successful business model to continue providing excellent design and high-quality services for their customers.
